hulp bij lokatie CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR!!

Nog even en ik word gek. Heb de hele ochtens in achter onder en boven de auto gehangen maar kon niets vinden waarvan ik zoiets had....jah dat herken ik. Het gaat om een 5.2 GC uit 1996. Er staat echt niets op internet voor dit type volgens mij. Of ik zie het over het hoofd. Is er iemand die mij exact kan laten zie d.m.v. uitleg of het liefst fotos waar dat ding nou zit. Ik heb een dingetje wat het wellicht kan zijn. Op de foto heb ik omringd. Het draadje zit in een soort rubberen ring op de versnellingsbak. Als dat het nou niet is, is er dan iemand die weet of die rechts of links zit vanuit de bestuurders kant gezien Iemand??

First Off Determine The Age Of Your Jeep���� This Sensor Cam Be In 1 Of 2 Places........ Early Jeeps They Are Near The Oil Filter And Easy To See And Get To. Dont Mistake It Tho For The Crankshaft Position Sensor !!!! That Is Part Of The Distributor.

If Its Not There Later Jeeps Have Then On The Bell Housing (very Hard To See) This Is Were The Fun Starts Patients Is Greatly Needed!!!!!!

As You Stand In Front Of Your Jeep Head Under Bonnet On The Right You Have Your Fuel Rail Follow That Back To The Bulk Head And Its Down There On The Top Of The Bell Housing. It Will Have A Heat Proof U Shaped Bracket To Protect The Cable Normally 1 Or 2 Bolts Hold It In Place 11mm Size.

How Do You Get It Out You Ask???????????

The Easy Way Is The Answer........

1, Put The Car Saftly On Axel Stands High As You Can.

2, Get A 11mm Socket With A Universal Joint Attached.

3, Attach As Many Extentions As You Can To The Universal Joint And Then Your Ratchet Handle.

4, The Trick Is To Lay Under The Car And Feed The Socket With Attachments Fron Were The Transfer Box Is (yes That Fare Back).. Past The Transmission And Front Propshaft Up Onto The 11 Bolts Its Held With....... Once Undone Pull It Out( Hardly Any Room Fror Hand From Under The Bonnet Is Better) Once It Is Out It Will Be The Size Of Your Thumb With A Plug That Has Three Pins In It........great Now You Have Found It And Got It In Your Hand..

A Big Point To Remember!!!!! When Ordering A New One Quote The Sensor Item Code Found In The Side Of The Sensor.......chrysler Have Two Different Codes For This Part Make Sure You Get The Right On!!!!!!!!!

Put The New One In The Same Way You Took The Last Out.......using A Paper Washer/spacer If Supplied....

Bedankt voor je moeite maar dit was ik ook al eens tegen gekomen. Ik kan er echter niets mee. De helft van de woorden begrijp ik niet en weet niet of dit nou gaat over de cam of crankshaft sensor. Weet iemand of dat wat ik omcirkeld heb de crank shaft sensor is ( cps )??

Jah had ik ook al gezien maar het gaat mij even om de foto die ik heb gepost. Zou je daar eens naar kunnen kijken? Als ik jouw tekening en mijn foto bekijk dan zou dat het dus inderdaad moeten zijn niet? Wat denk jij?? Bedankt voor de reactie. Groet , B

deze mag ook op slot hoor het is me gelukt. Ik zal bij "how to" uitleggen hoe ik het gedaan heb. Man als je het weet is het zooooo makkelijk echt. Ik snap achteraf niet waar zo moeilijk over wordt gedaan. Je kunt er inderdaad een beetje moeilijk bij maar het is echt te doen.
