The header channel mounts different in the 2003-06 and they changed to the Sailcloth material. It is a thicker material and different colors. I think that the factory channels look a little different. Technically a 2003-06 top should fit right on the factory 97-02 channel. The channels actually don't mount different. Just look a little different I guess. The only real difference for the two is the type of material. I think the roll bar padding is a little thicker so the tops might fit tighter.
