Hello all, this is my first post. my Dutch is not good, and my german is just as bad. I am in Germany and trying to find a transmission for my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L the transmission should be a 42re. I have used google translate to put this into dutch for me hopeful that it reads correct.

I am having trouble with the translation on some things and can not be logged in with the translator. Chris

You can try Erwin Maasbach http://www.maasbach4x4.nl a while ago he had some Grand Cherokee's in stock for parts.

Or you can try Hans Bastings http://www.jeep-parts.nl/ he's located in the south of The Netherlands (Limburg) near the Belgium border.

No luck with Hans Bastings, and the other place never contacted me back. At this point I hate to send it to the junkyard but it has left me no choice. The local shops want a fortune to rebuild the transmission, 2k Euro plus, and I already have the steels/koleens, filter, installed new TCC solenoid and the other solenoid just to check. Reverse is totally gone. So if anyone is interested in my jeep let me know. The local people are willing to come and take it and part it out let me know if anyone is interested.

Need this gone before Monday if anyone wants it. You could part it and make some coin off it. I have a 42re trans steels/koleens for the trans. If anyone is interested that is, pass it along. I have to figure out what to do to get it off the USAREUR registration system. Chris
