Fred and me decided that today, would be a good day to try a few Hammer trails, to see he KOH trailbuilders had changed things. Well it didn't disappoint. We ran Chocolate thunder, the line through the entrance has changed, also the wind blew a ton of sand into the entrance which filled in the dug out section quite nicely. Was a fun climb, nothing to eventfull

Wrecking ball was more fun, the trail builders did a number this trail. We both tackled the waterfall, Fred nailed it the first , took me a few tries to get the right line.

Spooners was next and pretty much looks like a new trail, didn't look anything like the last time.

Much more challenging and fun.

Lil more massaging with a grinder, make a spacer for the driverside and some misalignment spacers and it's done to my liking

Weld it up tonight and tomorrow the wheel can go back on and time to make 2 tierods, spacer tubes and some misalignment spacers and then that part of the steering is done

Smallest torch on your welding setup, heat fitting red hot, wiggle carefully so the brake line doesn't twist, with a bit of patience it will work free.

Vise-grips work well on rounded fittings.

Left steering arm is finished, just need to make a spacer and source a long bolt. Did a bit of grafting on the grille and dreamed a Ricky racer dream :rofl:

Ben voor het grootste gedeelte van de week in en around Hammertime geweest.

Zo bezig als een klein baasje. Maar aan het eind van de dag hadden we een Jeep die mett 77mph door de woestijn sprong gedurende de EMC race.

Dana 44 en de rotsen speelden niet zo lief met elkaar en dat was het einde van dat avontuur. Was leuk om die Jeep terug te vinden in het midden van de pik zwarte nacht

Had iets nodig om de as te kantelen en de orginele Jeep krik was daar handig voor. Had te veel caster and a wicked death wobble
