Waar kopen jullie je Cherokee onderdelen

Hallo,

Ik heb sinds een paar dagen een 1998 Cherokee XJ Sport. Het is de tweede Cherokee voor mij. De eerste had ik toen ik nog een de VS woonde, maar dat is inmiddels alweer ruim 10 jaar geleden.

Dus een Cherokee-ervaring in Nederland is nieuw voor mij.

Ik ben een lijstje aan het maken wat ik allemaal wil gaan vervangen/repareren. Ik heb inmiddels twee onderdelenbedrijfjes gevonden die Cherokeeonderdelen leveren. Allebei redelijk bij mij in de buurt. Jeepparts and Cherokeeparts.

 

Zijn er nog andere betrouwbare adressen voor Cherokee onderdelen?

Bedankt. Ik heb alles besteld bij Jeepparts. Is een paar kilometer bij mij vandaan. Gemakkelijk en goedkoop, want ik kan het gewoon ophalen. Ik heb nieuwe remklauwen, schijven, trommels, schoenen en remslangen besteld. En wat rubbers voor de stabilisator stand en reactie stangen. Weegt aardig wat, dus zelf afhalen scheelt fors in de kosten.

Ik bestel vrij veel bij Rockauto in Amerika. Ondanks invoerrechten en BTW nog altijd goedkoper dan in EU.

Wel een interessante optie dat Rockauto. Ik was vergeten hoe goedkoop auto-onderdelen in Amerika waren. 

Waar ik me indertijd, toen we nog in de VS woonden, altijd over verbaasde was ook de hoeveelheid onderdelen die de lokale auto-onderdelenwinkel gewoon allemaal op voorraad hadden. De meeste onderdelen voor mijn Jeep kocht ik gewoon bij mijn lokale Autozone, of O’Reilley. 

Ga nog eens goed kijken naar al dit moois!

Zitten op nog geen 10 minuten afstand van mij.

Ik ga ook alle vloeistoffen (en filters) vervangen. Dinsdag komen die aan en dan kan ik de komende week gaan sleutelen!

Napa Auto Parts bought Partspoint last year. We have one here in Assen. As you know, Napa is just like the other big box auto parts store like Autozone in the US. Not sure if you can, but it might be worth asking the guys at the counter if you could get a specific part number from the US. I haven't tried it yet.

But I'm heading to the US in the summer for work, with an empty suitcase just for parts! 🙄 👍🏼

Thanks. Yes I am familiar with Napa. We lived in Kansas City for four years, so I have frequented Napa many times. 

I am lucky as Jeepparts is literally a five minutes drive from where I live. Very convenient, the owner is a very pleasant guy, very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He also helped me with the odd second hand part. (rear stabiliser bar)

I have also ordered some stuff from Rockauto. I am going to replace my AC evaporator and whilst I’m at it, going to replace the dryer/accumulator and the heater core too. Big job and those parts are dead cheap in the US and very expensive here in the Netherlands. I ordered it and had everything delivered within 2 weeks or so. Shipping was very reasonable, you do have to pay Dutch VAT and import duty, which is only 4% on car parts, so it still works out really cheap.

Haha! Yes, he's very helpful indeed. I sent Jeepparts a picture of a fuel rail part that I needed and he had the correct part in the mail the following day. Excellent service!

Ook via Ebay is veel te vinden, kijk maar op Quadratec , Teamcherokee.com en Morris 4x4 center....onderdelen en accessoires.

mijn snorkel komt uit Polen, slechts 89 euro....met importkosten...

Vergeet niet dat je soms import moet betalen,...sommige dingen zijn dan echt niet goedkoper of zijn zelfs duurder..( inklaringskosten / Douane kosten).

Accessoires koop ik o.a uit Duitsland, Engeland en China, een LED bar bijna 800 euro in Nederland, deze kost bij Alie 98 euro.  Hij geeft een berg licht, en de kwaliteit is prima, verlicht de hele straat! hij zit nu 2 jaar op de wagen en is nog als nieuw.

Ik heb trouwens een XJ 2.5I 4x4 uit 1993, Jamboree uitvoering....De hood-scoop heb ik recent uit China....was eigenlijk voor een Jeep Wrangler...maar met een beetje aanpassen...

Napa and only Napa has a special Fan clutch which spins more rotations on idle and not when engaged. 

This fan clutch is recommended when drive on trails. 

I think you can do good business when you bring those😉

Huh. I didn't know about this fan clutch. Maar ik denk dat mijn koffer will be full on the way back with an SYE, double cardan ends for the driveshaft (Technotrans uit Veendam will weld and balance the new driveshaft), and other little things.

 

@Andre Sleeuwits bedankt voor de tips on other good sources of parts voor ons jeep. Belasting / import tax  is veel te duur hier in Nederland.
