Hallo, Heeft iemand ervaring met het aanleggen van een trekhaak onder een JK (2011)? Welke zou ik moeten nemen? Is ie makkelijk te monteren? Zit er een standaard stekker voor in de Jeep waarop ik hem kan aansluiten? Groeten Annejan

Ik heb de top inmiddels gekocht. Heb nog niet geprobeerd of ie daadwerkelijk past, maar denk het wel. Ik ga hem in de zomer proberen en dan laat ik het nog weten! Bedankt voor de hulp ieg!

Thanks! Heb alles even zorgvuldig gelezen ;-) Ik blijf twijfelen of het gebruikers gemak van de nieuwe versie nu zoveel hoger is dan de oude versie. Ik kan een oude kopen voor de helft van de prijs van de nieuwe. De oude is ongebruikt.

Dank voor jullie antwoorden. Heb inmiddels wel gevonden dat er twee types zijn. Wat commentaren wat ik tegen kon komen: 1. 2010 soft top has different door shurroundsand top. The 07-09 has a drip rail that you tuck into the door shurrounds. 2010 does not. Other than that, its the same soft top, so if your looking to buy, a 2010 would be better way to go since you dont have jack with the damn drip rail tucking thing. 2. It's a little bit more than that. The 2009 and earlier used the drip rails to tighten the top. The 2010 and later eliminated the drip rails and instead use spring-tensioned cables to tighten the top. This makes it much quicker to open and close the top, and eliminates the drip rails as a wear/failure point. The negative impact of this is certain lightbar and roof-rack front support bars will interfere with opening the 2010 soft top. With the old-style top you could un-tuck the drip rails, unlatch the front footman clamps, loosening the top enough to reach in and unclamp the top's center clamps from the surrounds, and then slide the top backwards a few inches to clear the light/rack bars when opening. Since there is no way to relieve the tension from the cables on the new soft-top, you can't unclamp the center clamps and, therefore, can't open the new soft top with some light bars and rack mounting bars. We discovered this problem last year with my Gobi Stealth roof rack. The original light bar was a straight run up following the angle of the windshield frame, so the top extends slightly back of the top of the windshield frame. No matter how we tried, we could not get the soft top to clear the light bar. Ultimately Gobi stepped-up and built a new light bar with a slight bend at the top to provide about 4" space behind the light bar over the windshield frame than the original design, which is plenty of space for the soft top to open. Also, the door surrounds for the 2010 and new soft-tops are different, insofar as they at least eliminate the top channels for the drip rails. I have not seen them side-by-side to detect other differences. Ik begrijp in grote lijnen dat een nieuw model (waarschijnlijk de nr.82212606) een ander soort montage heeft (met spring tensioned cables) dan de oudere versie van voor 2009 (waarschijnlijk de 82212606). Ze staan beide op de Mopar site vermeld. Ik denk dat beide types passen op de JK van welk bouwjaar dan ook, maar dat er een soort upgrade geweest is van de manier van montage en bediening. Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee? Is het nieuwe systeem (vanaf 2009 met de spring tensioned cables) daadwerkelijk een vooruitgang in gemak en bediening? Groeten Annejan

Hoi, Ik heb een Jeep JK 2 deurs 2.8D. Ik kan nu een orginele Mopar softtop kopen die van een JK uit 2009 komt. Past deze op de 2011 versie? Zijn er zaken waarbij ik op zou moeten letten? Ik heb foto's van de aanbieder opgestuurd gekregen (want hij woont in t buitenland) en daar staan wel allemaal nummers op. Ik kan er echter geen wijs uit worden en die nummers nergens naar terug herleiden. Ik ben namelijk ook wel eens ergens tegen gekomen dat er ook softtop zouden zijn voor versie 2007-2009? Zijn er verschillen in softtop verises van Mopar en kan weet iemand aan de hand van de foto's wat dit nu precies is? Ik kom er echt niet uit! Alvast bedankt voor de moeite!
